Craig Kornblau

Co-Founder, SIZE / Storytelling, Strategy and Business Development

Craig Kornblau built his career at NBC Universal and Disney, where he spearheaded projects around transformative technology and delivery. Craig now works closely with venture capital/private equity firms and entrepreneurs. He advises companies on everything from entertainment trends, storytelling and brand building, to business development, operational logistics and the convergence of physical and digital businesses.

Craig was president of Universal Studios Home Entertainment for 15 years, where he oversaw sales, marketing, distribution, and finance for Universal’s North American home entertainment operations. A critical function of this position was his participation on the studio’s theatrical greenlight committee. Prior to Universal, Craig was an executive at Buena Vista Home Video, now Walt Disney Home Entertainment. He is GV's (formerly known as Google Ventures) first advisor from the media and entertainment sector, and he serves on the board of directors of a variety of companies in the media and tech space.

Craig has previously held board positions with the Consumer Electronics Association, Digital Entertainment Group, Media Audits International, and Next Level Communications. Craig earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.

 
 

Kirsten Hochberg

Partner, Supply chains and operations

Kirsten Hochberg is a board member, advisor, and consultant, who helps companies scale.  She serves on the advisory board at Pure Plus, Hi!, and WE global.  She advises and consults with several other companies, with specialties in operations, negotiations, and supply chain management.  

For many years, Kirsten worked as a Principle in the Valor Operations Group.  Her responsibilities included interim executive management, supply chain improvements, lean implementations, project management, business process improvement and supporting portfolio companies in a variety of growth initiatives across industries as diverse as consumer goods, restaurants, and cyber security.

 Prior to joining Valor, Kirsten was the CEO of Northern Quinoa Production Corporation (NQPC).  She turned around the 25 year-old quinoa company.  Before joining NQPC, she served as the VP of Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives, leading the merger integration between Safeway and Albertson’s supply chains.  

 Kirsten earned her BS in International Relations from Stanford University and her Master’s of Engineering in Supply ChainManagement and Logistics from MIT-Zaragoza.  Kirsten has lived in four countries, speaks five languages and was a two-time national karate champion.  In her free-time enjoys adventurous travel and extreme sports.

 

 
 

Brian Schwartz

Co-Founder / Strategy, Marketing, Partnerships and Capital

As a marketing and growth operator, Brian has spent the past 10 years designing innovative digital, e-commerce, retail and omni-channel marketing strategies for Fortune 500 brands.

Brian was most recently Vice President, Global Partner Marketing for Expedia Group's $5.4 billion hotel group where he led a marketing organization of 35 with teams that included digital, brand, creative, industry relations, marketing operations, research and events.

Prior to joining Expedia Group, Brian spent six years in marketing and partnerships leadership roles at DreamWorks Animation where he was responsible for retail and merchandising P&Ls across multiple international markets, developed brand strategies for Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon and Trolls and executed over 100 omni-channel marketing campaigns to support DreamWorks' entertainment properties.

Brian currently sits on three boards including the University of Washington - Foster School of Business and is an advisor to over ten venture capital backed companies including the unicorn goPuff.

Brian holds a Masters in Finance degree from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University.

 
 

Jim Winett

Co-Founder SIZE / Strategic Planning, Operational Restructuring and Investment Committee, SIZE Capital

Jim has 30+ years experience in finance, strategy and operations, working with early stage growth start-ups to Fortune 50 companies.  His work has included operating companies in crisis and turnarounds to international strategic planning and change management to interim CFO and operating roles.

 Jim's current consulting practice includes a wide range of advisory services, including managing all M&A activities for a PE-backed automotive aftermarket company that he has assisted growing from $0 to $1.8 Billion sales in the United States as well as working with early stage companies as an Executive in Residence at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator.  In parallel to his consulting practice, Jim has also co-founded, acquired and sold interests in a variety of companies, including but not limited to ShipMax.com, a 3PL for online retailers, The Agency for Sports Ethics, an anti-doping monitoring program for professional athletic teams, and ACC Health, a mobile medical and dental company with operations nationwide.  Jim also co-founded the non-profit Early X Foundation, which works to spin off Intellectual Property in partnership with national research laboratories into for-profit companies to stimulate the economy, reduce the tax burden on the labs and promote employment opportunities.

 Prior to founding his consulting firm, Jim worked in the Business Turnaround Services Group at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he worked with such clients as Disney, Circle K and U-Haul.  

 Jim received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  

 
 

Alex Matthews

Co-Founder EMERITUS, SIZE / Design, Branding and Creative

As a creative, branding and CPG specialist, Alex has spent 20 years building brands, founding and funding CPG companies and growing brands from $10MM - $100MM.

Alex most recently founded HERE Studio in 2017. HERE Studio is a CPG focused branding and creative studio in Los Angeles, that exists to accelerate brands through thoughtful strategy, brand development, naming, typography, packaging design and multi-channel unification for companies $1MM - $100MM.

Alex is also founder of VINA Beverages Inc, having secured funding from Karp Reilly, Iris Nova and Artis Ventures.

Prior to founding HERE Studio, Alex also founded Juice Served Here, a beverage company in Los Angeles with 13 Brick & Mortar locations, 4000 points of distribution (WFM, CBTL, Sprouts, Noahs Bagel etc) and e-comm with sales over $15MM. 

Alex currently sits on three boards (Vina, Pressta®, Another) and is an advisor to multiple venture capital backed companies.

Alex moved to the USA from the UK in 2006, after spending 10 years in advertising, senior search and selection within the hospitality sector.

Alex attended Bristol University and holds a bachelor’s degree in design.

 
 

Lara Osment

A well known leader in the fashion and beauty recruitment space, Lara has matched hundreds of people seeking their next big career move with industry-leading brands around the world.

With more than 15 years of entrepreneurial, sales and marketing experience within the fashion industry, she has grown her own businesses and driven growth and desirability for thousands of brands. From founding THREAD Tradeshow in 2003 to holding the title of VP of Strategic Sales for MAGIC, COTERIE. PROJECT and more, she has an innate understanding of how to build successful teams from the ground up.

After co-founding Clear Cut, a successful recruitment agency that specialized in fashion, Lara realized her passions lay beyond recruitment alone and were deeply rooted in a larger vision - one where people and companies prioritized a cause larger than profitability alone. And so the idea for GOOD PEOPLE was born.

She spends her free time exploring (and cleaning up) local beaches, shopping for repurposed, vintage furniture and trying every new wellness and clean beauty product on the market.

 
 

Rick Martino

Human Resources, Executive Coaching and leadership training

Rick Martino’s career in Human Resources has spanned 35+ years, 18 of those years as the top HR leader, and a business leader, in organizations in very different industries including technology, consulting, consumer electronics, and non-profit. He has earned the distinction of being a high-trust, straight talk senior executive, partner, coach, and advisor to CEO’s, executive leadership teams, and Boards. He is currently engaged in supporting organizations to build both strategic and operational HR excellence, and is a coach and mentor to senior leaders helping them build a people experience that attracts, retains, and inspires the talent necessary to achieve business success.

 Throughout his career he has successfully driven transformation and change. As Chief People Officer at Bose Corporation, he had responsibility talent strategy and execution as well as internal communications, corporate operations, security, community relations and environmental health and safety. He was member of the Bose Executive, Benefits, Real Estate, and Sustainability Steering committees. At IBM, as a member of IBM’s Senior Management Group, he held several executive leadership positions including Vice President of Talent, where he had enterprise responsibility for talent planning and acquisition, learning, diversity, management development, HRIT, and international mobility. As Chief People Officer at Bearing Point, he led all HR aspects of the complex sale of a public, $3B, 15,000 person global consulting organization.

Rick earned an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Political Science from American University.  He served as a member of the New England Board of the March of Dimes from 2013 to 2018. He is currently a member of the American University School of Public Affairs Board of Advisors.

 
 

Molly Mulloy

Public relations

Molly leads the tech practice at Crafted and has previously led technology and consumer marketing practices/teams for some of the world’s largest agencies, including Edelman, MWW, and Zeno Group. A geek at heart, Molly stays on top of technology trends to ensure her clients are leading forward-thinking, strategic programs and campaigns. She has worked across – and with companies originating from the U.S., Europe and Asia, including ECOVACS, Expedia Group, Gap, Inc., HTC, Mattel, Microsoft, Optoma, Samsung, Starbucks, Texas Instruments, T-Mobile, Wargaming, WIRED and ZTE.

 
 

Will Hughes

eCommerce, Growth and Digital Marketing

Will Hughes career started at the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, DC consulting and advising senior executives at Fortune 500 companies. His career in eCommerce / Digital Marketing has spanned 20+ years with 15 of those years as the senior most executive at various companies responsible for strategy and execution for online growth. 

Will has scaled DTC companies from $18M to over $100M and worked with brands from $20M to over $1B in annual revenues. He has built and managed internal teams as well as external agencies to scale quickly and efficiently. 

He is especially talented in finding ways to scale channels beyond the first level of growth.  His areas / channels of responsibility include: Facebook, Instagram, Google Search, Google Shopping, YouTube, GDN, Programmatic, Amazon, Affiliate, Podcasts, CRO, influencers, ConnectedTV, Retention, Email, SMS, etc.

 
 

Andi Ruda

Fractional CFO, Budgeting & Forecasting, Strategic Start-Up Finance

Andi is an experienced CFO with deep expertise in start-up finance, budgeting and forecasting, fundraising model builds, and cash flow management. She founded and runs Rainbow CFO, a fractional CFO firm working with Seed to Series B start-ups in the Consumer Goods, Retail, Professional Services and SaaS industries. 


Before starting Rainbow CFO, Andi began her career in Finance Transformation consulting at Accenture, reporting into CFOs across multiple Fortune 500 financial services companies. From there, she went on to serve as CFO at Geragos & Geragos, overseeing both the law firm finance operations as well as the principal's real estate and hospitality investments. Her most notable full-time role was serving as CFO at international jewelry retailer ALEX AND ANI where she led the finance organization through a full debt and equity restructuring. Her most recent full-time CFO position was serving as CFO of fashion technology start-up Resonance, whose mission is focused on eliminating inventory from the retail supply chain. Through these roles, she has gained tremendous experience across multiple industries and stages in the business lifecycle.

Today Andi partners with clients in a variety of structures depending on the needs of the business. For later stage startups she steps in as interim and/or part-time CFO to oversee both the finance function. For earlier stage companies she offers project-based engagements focused on building financial models, establishing budgets, and installing the right controls as a business grows. 

 
 

Daniel Schwerdtfeger

STARTUP STRATEGY, FINANCIAL ANALYSIS, AND FUNDRAISING

Daniel has over a decade of experience working with startups and SMEs. He has provided controller services, fundraising models, ad hoc financial analysis, and strategic planning for companies based around the world, most recently as a consultant with the firms Ninth Island, Hangar202, and The Branstetter Group. Prior to his consulting work, he worked as the FP&A Manager at SADA, where he oversaw all processes related to accounting and finance as SADA more than doubled its annual revenue from 2015 to 2017. He also served as the back-office lead in a sell-side due diligence process that resulted in a successful divestiture of a business unit to a strategic buyer backed by a private equity firm. He has a B.Sc. in Economics and Finance from the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business.

 
 

John Siegler

Mr. Siegler is a business leader with a verifiable record of developing strategic vision, raising capital, and delivering profitable growth. Experienced with all phases of company- building, including initial conceptualization, strategic/financial planning, market entry strategies, capitalization, product/technology development, brand development, creation and oversight of sales channels, strategic partnerships, internal financial / administrative controls and reporting structures, and acquisition / company dissolution. Creative visionary with pragmatic, analysis-driven implementation approach and the ability to quickly prioritize competing strategic objectives and assess them against available resources.

 
 

Jake Levin

Marketing, growth strategies and e-comm

Jake is an experienced marketing leader with a passion for growing companies from the ground up. While in college, he started his first company Want-something.com. He parlayed that experience into becoming the first employee and Head of Marketing at goPuff, a global leader in instant needs delivery. In the 4+ years as goPuff’s Head of Marketing, Jake helped scale the company to 50 markets, and over $1bn in valuation. Jake left goPuff to co-found gettacar, an e-commerce car retailer. There, he led the growth of the brand and company to 200 employees and 3 rounds of funding with overall valuations in the 9 figures, becoming one of the leading disruptors in the industry. Jake is currently the founder of Inflection Growth, a company focused on solving the pain points of growing marketing teams and scaling businesses by customizing and operating marketing teams that seamlessly integrate into businesses.

 
 

Lisa Robinson

Public relations

Lisa is a founding partner of Crafted Communications, serving as a strategic and creative lead across consumer and technology clients. She previously served as General Manager of Zeno Group Los Angeles, where she led and provided brand and issues management support to Kia Motors, Nature’s Path, SIRIUS and T-Mobile. As Chief Creative Officer for Zeno Group, Lisa provided innovative thinking and problem-solving for each client engagement to garner maximum results. An agency veteran, she worked at Burson-Marsteller, Ketchum and Fleishman-Hillard.

 
 

Sean Huurman

Human Resources, Workforce Transformation, Total Rewards

Sean is a co-founder and Managing Principal of Populus Advisors, a human resources strategy and advisory firm. As a senior Human Resources executive with extensive global experience in a public companies and private equity ventures, his experience spans a variety of industries, including automotive, telecommunications, management consulting, and semiconductor and media technology companies.

Sean serves as an advisor to CEOs, Boards, private equity sponsors, and international management teams on workforce strategy, talent initiatives, and organizational design. With over 30 years of experience in the Human Resources and consulting fields Sean most recently served seven years as Chief Human Resources Officer at Service King Collision, a Blackstone portfolio company. He has spent the last 13 years serving Private Equity firms as CHRO. Prior, much of his career was with KPMG/BearingPoint leading various HR functions.

Sean is known as a purpose-based executive leader focused on transforming HR functions and building workforce strategies to create real value for the businesses he serves.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Santa Clara University and earned a master’s degree in human resources and employee relations from Pennsylvania State University.

 
 

Roger Scadron

Roger has 40 years of wide-ranging experience in assessing company strengths & weakness, transaction advisory & diligence, and financial & operational realignment. During the last 30 years he worked at FTI Consulting and its predecessor PWC/ Price Waterhouse. Prior he worked as a special situation lender and international banker.

Roger’s specialty is in companies with recurring revenue, high IP value product sales and in the digital technologies that have created so much opportunity and disruption throughout the millennium. He also has experience in a variety of other industries.

His core competency is an ability to assess the factors that drive a company’s success and differentiation from competitors. He can identify and remediate weaknesses in financial operations that impede growth and profitability…quickly. Roger leverages his experience to work collaboratively with management teams during periods of both transition and of hic-ups.

Recognized as an expert with court testimony and litigation consulting experience, Roger has years of management experience and has been a member of several investment committees. He has held SEC Investment Banking Series 7, 63 & 79 licenses, and has worked extensively in Mexico and Spain. He speaks Spanish fluently and reads & writes comfortably.

 
 

Michael Georgoff

Product Management, Digital Transformation, and High-Growth Strategy Expert

Mike Georgoff is an experienced head of product with nearly two decades operating inside high growth technology startups. He founded and runs Lemonade Stand, which offers fractional product management, marketing, and strategy services for early and growth stage startup founders and CEOs.

Mike has been at the executive table and in the boardroom since the age of 25, when he was Chief of Staff and head of strategic planning at redbox, scaling it from $100M to $1B+ in revenue in three years. He then joined RetailMeNot, running all mobile products (with 40M MAUs) as well as new product lines, staying through the company's unicorn IPO in 2014. From there, three consecutive CPO gigs, including co-leading digital transformation at H-E-B, one of the country's largest retailers and privately held businesses. His overhaul of the digital customer experience led to H-E-B being named best grocer in the country by dunnhumby for multiple years running.

Mike has also advised and served on the board of several venture backed startups, and prides himself on finding ways to win, with successful exits at every stop. Mike graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in political science and economics.

 
 

Sehr Lalani

Sehr Lalani is a results-focused operator who collaborates with high-growth companies as a fractional Chief People Officer and leadership coach. Sehr has been the top People leader at four venture-backed startups and helped them achieve billion-dollar valuations during her tenure (ipsy, Workrise, Hasura, Built).
